How is a puveera token used?
I do not really know. I showed some in a previous thread (http://www.worldofcoins.eu/forum/index.php/topic,27730.0.html).
At the time i could find little historic information. "Pu" is the tamil character visible on the token. "Veera" in Tamil means brave or hero. Many temples in the region have a name starting with "Sri Veera..". I could not find which specific festival these tokens were associated with.
