Title: Valentinian, but which one?
Post by: Saikat on September 14, 2019, 04:44:44 PM
Hi,
I think , I read something like " D N VALENTINIANVS P F AVG " on the obverse side of the coin. The reverse indicates Siscia mint?
Wt: 2.35 gm
Dia: 16.3 mm
Can I please have an attribution?
Thanks,
Saikat

According to Wildwinds Siscia RIC IX 15a, xxvii-a, to be very precise. This id means that the letter to the right of Victory is a Q. To the left of SISC is a gamma, likely the officina.
