Title: Where in Sweden are they coming from?
Post by: Figleaf on August 03, 2019, 03:33:48 PM
I am currently going through my Swedish tokens. Many are easy to identify very completely thanks to the contributors of the WoT pages on Swedish tokens. My minimum requirement for identification is name and HQ in Sweden of the issuer and purpose. I have been unable to identify a number of tokens this way. Here is a list of enterprises without HQ in Sweden. Maybe the learned people of this site can help out?

Jede - Mariestad

Mullsjö is itself a town name.

AFAIK Svensk Filmindustri had its HQ in Solna.

The others will have to wait till I am at a computer with a proper keyboard.

This would seem to be the same Bally,
Bally Manufacturing - Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bally_Manufacturing)

We need to see a picture of the Bally token.

These were in use worldwide. Some are listed in British Machine tokens that were used in the UK.

It's not about tokens, Malcolm, it's about where Bally had its Swedish HQ.

Thanks to contributors to this thread!
