Title: Philipines 1 Quarto 1830 - retrograde lettering
Post by: CameronK on March 23, 2019, 06:00:26 PM
Hello! Can any comment on whether retrograde lettering on this coin is more or less common than the regularly-styled letters? I've attached a scan and brightened scan to make the letters more readable. Thanks for the opinions!

I don't see any error lettering. legends are:

obv FERD•VII•D•G•HISP•ET•IND•R
rev Below: F•1830•M (date, mint director and assayer marks). Around: VTRAQ VLTR PROTEG MAN
