What a fun series of illustrations, showing how a 3D statue was transformed into a coin design. I wish coin designers would study such a series, before leaving the routine stuff to a computer. A few well considered changes can turn a caricature into a credible portrait.

Interesting that the designer first has a very vague description of what he is supposed to do - and only after the initial work is done, he gets those please-do-this and add-that-here instructions.  :-\
