I can't see any markings on the medals themselves. :-\
I would expect to see ARGENT on the edge

Plaisance was a village on the edge of the built up area of Paris. Its history is described (in French) here (http://books.openedition.org/psorbonne/1589). The carabiniers was a private shooting club, noted for using the "fusil gras (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fusil_Gras_mle_1874)". In view of the dates on your medals, they may be proof of membership.
