Another from my coin lot,  this one seems to have been eaten away but whatever caused it is not clear

These commonly seem to be a little moth eaten. I have three specimen in different degradation stages.
This is a medium size fals issued under Ala-ud-din Khwarezmshah.
It is not listed in Tye's Jitals. I arranged it behind Tye#302 because it has some resemblance with this.
From the specimen below it is clear to see the "Muhammad bin Tekesh" in the center.

Thank you Anthony,   I had spotted the similarity with Ala-ud-din Khwarezmshah's Jitals  but as it's not a Jital it's has no mention in Tye of course

Well, the distinction in the catalog is not that strict. Looking just at the flan size, Tye#299 to 302 are no Jitals either.
