Great coin ! I think there was a bit of a minting technique problem at the time. As mine (shown here (http://www.worldofcoins.eu/forum/index.php/topic,36770.0.html)) has a very similar flan crack.

Taj-ud-din Nasr was soon replaced by his brother Rukn-ud-din Abu Mansur, who also did not last long.
So as an addition:
Obv: “Rukn-al-din / abu Mansur bin / Bahramshah”.
Rev: “Allah / Muhammad / rasul Allah / al-Nasir al-din”.

  I wonder why the flans cracked, it's what you might expect from cast metal

I think the die was insufficiently heated or had cooled off too much before it was struck, reducing the elasticity of the metal on the outside towards the edge.

Another factor may have been the metal composition of the coins, as these seem to cointain a high percentage of lead in the alloy.
