Title: Resizing Images
Post by: Bimat on July 01, 2017, 03:20:35 PM
PS: Can I use "width" or some orher tag to reduce image dimensions or must I do it before posting?

Yes you can. Try this:

[img width=500 height=500]url here[/ img]

(Extra space added at the end)

I see only the "cloose file" option when uploading the pic directly to the forum. There is no URL.
Edit: Got it! Thanks.

I thought you were talking about embedded images... ;)

No, for direct uploading on the forum, the size function does not work. You have to resize it before uploading it (which I agree annoying at times)

I managed to do that, copying the URL that appeared on clicking the attachment, but then there were two images. I removed the attached one, but now the other one is gone too. Reinstating two images. Any way to remove the second and retain only the first?

No. You have to keep the uploaded photo as it is. As soon as it is removed, it will disappear from all the posts where it has been embedded.

I could resize it using a different app.
