Hainaut 1948 and Brabant 1948, 1949, 1950, 1951 & 1955.

Smaller pieces are c.52mm high
Larger pieces 67mm

Very nice, they look almost unused - perhaps they were never placed on the bicycle.

In Belgium the levying of the bicycle tax was the responsibility of the provinces, which from the start issued their own plates. The first province to introduce the tax was the province of West Flanders, in 1893. The other provinces soon followed. The tax was in most provinces stopped in 1986, in East and West-Flanders in 1987 and in Hainaut in 1991.
