Now I realise how old I am. I was in Taipei three times and even the last time, there was no metro. Now, there are over 100 stations on 5 lines.

yeah peter, time flies, i just realized after your comment that this token is from my visit in 2012..i had a nice time coin hunting, i remember visiting a building which had several coin dealers, mostly dealing in Chinese coins, but i was able to make good my visit as i found some nice coins from Iran Germany and India.

To the 20th anniversary of the Taipei metro. The circulation of 2000 pieces. each color that correspond to its metro line. Sold only on its branches. Tokens with a chip. Not souvenir. Could be used to travel all day.

Yes, of course, came out. Series numbers are different: no number, 071, 072, 091, 092, 101, 102, 121, 122.

My daughter used one in Taipei last month.
