The latest addition to my collection is special to me because I didn't have a single coin from Tonga and didn't have any rectangular coin either. :) Interesting reverse is an added advantage too. ;)

Tonga, Pa'anga (1977), KM# 57, Rectangular (48 mm x 27 mm), Plain Edge, Copper Nickel, Mintage: 25,000.

Obverse: Portrait of King Taufa'ahau Tupou IV (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/T%C4%81ufa%CA%BB%C4%81hau_Tupou_IV)

Reverse: 100 Palm Trees

because I didn't have a single coin from Tonga and didn't have any triangular coin either.

Wow, a triangular rectangular coin! Must be a Pobjoy product. (Only teasing - I have this coin myself).

Sorry, my mistake. ;D Amended the description.

It must be very difficult to operate these coins in coin vending machines. >:D (This is a collector coin anyway, not intended for circulation!)
