Not listed in Gavin Scott's 'British Countermarks on Copper and Bronze coins' - including the French bronze coin section; nor in the supplement of  French Countermarks on French coins.

Found a Frisby family near Peterborough with several Williams and a Walter. No information to link it to the counterstamp though. Could it be a love token, rather than a coin replacement?
