Title: Pice of Bengal Presidency with unknown countermark
Post by: Afrasi on October 06, 2012, 07:40:47 PM
Here I have - at least I think so - a Trisul Pice of the Bengal Presidency, Banaras Mint, KM #28. It is stamped with a - at least to me - totally unknown countermark.
Can anybody help?

It looks close to this countermark (http://www.worldofcoins.eu/forum/index.php/topic,731.0.html), but the host coins are from very different times. Also, for fun, see this countermark (http://www.worldofcoins.eu/forum/index.php/topic,706.0.html), again on a host coin of a different era.
