Would this be 1768 or 1786  ???

I would say 1768.  It looks very similar to one of the early ones I posted.

I agree. In any case, neither Gomes nor KM list any 1786 coppers for Portuguese India.
It could be a 1/2 Atia (diameter: 20 mm; KM 37, Gomes Jo 40.02) or an Atia (diameter: 23...25 mm; KM 38, Gomes Jo 41.02 (copper) or Jo 41.03 (brass - doesn't look look like it). The mint is Diu.
