Hi All,

Some of you may already know of this...for others, hope they find this useful...apologies that the pics are not the best!

From my collection...you may find other dates

1) Calcutta Mint...Numeral "5" 9mm, the "INDIA" and "BHARAT" (in devnagari) are thicker and somewhat clumsy...the legends on obverse are in general larger
2) Calcutta Mint...Numeral "5" 8mm, the "INDIA" and "BHARAT" (in devnagari) are thin and sharp...the legends on obverse are in general smaller
3) Bombay Mint...Numeral "5" 8mm....The legends on obverse are in general smaller
4) Bombay Mint...Numeral "5" 9mm....The legends on obverse are in general larger

Very interesting , although quite common coins but still interesting due to varieties in it .

Need to save such details , thanks for posting.
