Isle of Man: New series of circulating coins 2025

The Isle of Man has at the end of last year held a survey to identify themes for a new coin series. The new series is currently being developed. Furthermore residents could indicate whether the island should introduce a 12-sided 1 pound coin. The results of the survey have not been published. No 2024-dated standard coins of the Isle of Man are known to exist.

People could choose between the following general themes:

Local landmarks
Local nature
Historical events / social events of significance
Local artistry
Local person(s) of interest
Isle of Man achievements such as in industry, sport, arts, social issues / community issues to be proud of
