Crusade AE denier

This coin was sold to me as an AE fractional denier of the Crusader Kingdom of Antioch. If I see it well the lettering says at the cross side PRINCEPS and at the other side ..ANTIOCH.... But what is that at the other side and how do you hold the coin? And could one put a date on it?

Metcalf type C1 (Schlumberger pl. 2, 15), orientation as you have it, 'puzzling anonymous types'.

Metcalf describes the reverse as '... distinctive disjointed design ...' and doesn't speculate further in the text, but in the table on p. 144 he says 'Edifice?'.

For date he says '... the site finds from Antioch [4 specimens] almost certainly require a date before 1268'.
