Louis XVI coin (?) = help on ID

Can I get an assist? I thought I had 2, 12 deniers on my hands here, however I measured them and found differences.

The 2nd, darker coin is 10.4 g, 30 mm, so it's slightly larger and slightly lighter than the 12 denier piece at 12.4 g and 28 mm

I've artificially lightened the obverse and can see what I think is the BB mintmark.

Those times were very troubled and it is easy to find bigger differences than yours. This is absolutely not surprising. Even the composition of the alloy can vary significantly and, in doing so, the color of the metal.
I looked at only the 10 first coins on the greatest French dealer and found:
