INCM wins tender for production of Slovenian euro coins

The Portuguese mint INCM has won a tender for the production of Slovenian euro coins. In 2022, the mint for the first time manufactured circulating euro coins for another euro member state after successfully winning a tender for the production of Estonian circulation coins for 2022 and 2023. Now they have again successfully bid on a tender. The mint will manufacture 1 cent, 10 cent and 2 euro commemorative coins, collectors coins and numismatic products for the Bank of Slovenia. The company is looking for ways to reinforce its circulating coin production for foreign countries.

Other successful bidders were Mint of Finland (5 cent and 2 euro), Mincovna Kremnica (20 cent and 50 cent) and the Italian state mint IPZS (2 cent). Only the Lithuanian Mint was unsuccesful in the bidding.
