Lead Coin of Ananda Dynasty - Mulananda

This is a LEAD Coin from Ananda Dynasty of Karwar Region in South India. Weight is 14.42 Grams, size 27 mm. On the Obverse- Hill of two tiers of small arches surmounted by large arch. Brahmi legend - Rano Mulanandasa. Reverse - Tree in Railing with symbols on either side (Ref: Coins - P.L. Gupta, Page 57, Coin # 120).

Yours is an incredible coin Abhay! The one I have looks like this.
As you know, lead does not keep!  I wonder how yours did so well with time?

As you know, lead does not keep!  I wonder how yours did so well with time?

I really don't know. The coin is covered with some kind of Deposit - could be Calcium or Chalk. Maybe, because of this deposit, it is saved from further deterioration.
