So far the standard 5p, and the commemorative 50p coins to commemorate the platinum jubilee, pride and the life and legacy of the Queen are known to be out in circulation.

Are they the versions with the 26 22 mintmark things on?  I didn't realise they would circulate, I assumed they were just for the expensive sets that stopped being available after 31 December.

eurocoin

No, I understand the confusion. I meant the standard 5p, and the commemorative 50p to commemorate the life and legacy of the queen (this one). The coins with the 26 and 22 mintmarks were only released in sets.

The commemorative 50 pence coin to commemorate the life and legacy of the Queen should not be mentioned in the 'Regular circulating decimal coins' sub-board.  :o

Well, it would not make sense if the commemorative coins could not be mentioned in a topic like this. The overlap is acceptable.

Well, you would say that, wouldn't you?  :o

Next you will spell 'circulation' as 'circulatiiion' in honour of King Charles III.  :-X

That's for the moderator(s) to decide. However, it just a question of where posts go. No need to delete anything.

An unidentified coin is a piece of metal. An identified coin is a piece of history.

I'd say that all 2022-dated coins that go into circulation can be mentioned here, as not all commemoratives circulate these days anyway.  An overlap is fine.

So, to recap:
Platinum Jubilee 50p
Pride 50p
Queen Elizabeth II memorial 50p
5p

Is that it so far?

To clarify - that's the Britannia version isn't it?  No commemoratives were issued?

Yes, that is correct. I will amend the message to make this clearer.

That's dated 2023 so will be in "2023 coins in circulation" in about a year's time when issue figures are released.
