I bought the book when I visited the Mary Gillick exhibition at the British Museum. I haven't got round to reading it yet but I can give some details on the contents. The section on the coinage portrait of the Queen comprises one chapter and covers the development of the portrait and reactions to it. It does not list all the coins on which her portrait was used. Most of the book covers her medallic work. I'm not interested in collecting medals personally but it is still interesting to see the artists other work.

The chapters in the book are:

1 - Introduction (pages 8 to 11)
2 - The artist (pages 12 to 22)
3 - The cast medals (pages 23 to 53)
4 - The struck medals to 1945 (pages 54 to 71)
5 - The portrait of the Queen and the last struck medals (pages 72 to 92)
6 - The medallic memorials (pages 93 to 117)
7 - Other works (pages 118 to 131)
8 - Recognition (pages 132 to 137)
9 - 'Full of artistic integrity' (pages 138 to 151)
Appendix (pages 152 to 156)
Archives, libraries and museums (pages 157)
References (pages 158 to 160)
Notes (pages 161 to 200)
Index (pages 201 to 207)
Acknowledgments (pages 208 to 209)

The exhibition at the British Museum runs to July 31st but isn't worth making a special trip for, unless you live in London, as it only consisted of 3 or 4 cabinets, one of which included an original plaster and a couple of coins.
