Unadopted sketches for the 1981 IYDP (International Year of Disabled Persons) coins of the People's Democratic Republic of Yemen.

I do not know who made these sketches.

However, Michael Rizzello was responsible for the issued designs, so it is possible the sketches were his.

The sketches are numbered, but I do not have any of the missing numbers.

Ali Abdullah Saleh, President of the Yemen Arab Republic (North Yemen), on one of the issued coins.

Abdullah Al-Baradouni was a Yemeni writer and poet.

Here he is seen on one of issued coins.

Both coins were issued by the Yemen Arab Republic.

Michael Rizzello also designed the portrait of Abdullah Al-Baradouni above.

It appeared on the 1981 IYDP coin of the People's Democratic Republic of Yemen.
