Overlord strikes again. My impression from your impressive reconstruction is that either something may still be missing or the die wasn't round? Or maybe the missing date was two digits only?

This style of writing is often called Tughra script. I'm not sure if the term can be applied to describe the calligraphy on this coin, but this coin of Hydreabad is an excellent example.
Peter, these coins did include the complete AH year, as seen in this example.
