Gibraltar, 5 pence, 2010.


In 2010, the 5 pence design, depicting the Barbary ape, was somewhat modified.

Previously the literal version of the denomination, "FIVE PENCE", had appeared at the top of the coin.

Meanwhile, the numeral had appeared at the bottom.

On the new coin, their positions were reversed.

Gibraltar, 50 pence, 2018.  Barbary ape.  (Macaque monkey).

The animal is in fact a monkey and not an ape, but "Barbary ape" is its colloquial name.
