Jahangir 20% overweight rupee (Jahangiri), Tatta mint KM#152.7
or
how not to clean a coin
Obv: Kalima with mint name and year
Rev: Nuraldin Muhammad Jahangir Badshah Ghazi, 3 Ry
This coin had been cleaned in a inch of its life with a rough wire brush  >:D
Nevertheless the coin is complete stuck and we can find the mint name and the dates (though barely readable).
weight 13.22 gm
Thanks,
Saikat

Figleaf

Pretty horrible, those scratches and completely unnecessary. You may try smoothing them with a thick paste of graphite and oil, but you should wash that away before selling the coin.

An unidentified coin is a piece of metal. An identified coin is a piece of history.

Thanks you. The only reason I purchased this one is an overweight rupee with this mint is not easy for me to get. For a comparatively low price, I can use this one as a filler until a better one comes.
