J A Kennedy Ltd Sunderland 1d consimilar rounded square brass 29.4mm

also 10/- (ten shillings) consimilar rounded square brass 27.2mm with hole above the 10/- perhaps this is an aid to recognition as its very similar to the 1d  ???

We are discovering a whole new collecting area: credit tokens from large surface shops. I presume it's a British thing. I am not aware of similar tokens from other countries. I don't suppose there's a catalogue and I wouldn't be surprised if WoC was the only place showing a significant number. This is first class reference stuff, malj1. Thank you.

There were tokens for that tram also ;)
