Hi,
Attaching a rupee of Jahangir form mint Agra. Date 1025 AH/Ry 10.
Weight 11.29 gm
KM 145.1
With almost full flan visibility, the coin, though uncleaned, is beautiful.
Thanks,
Saikat

Good fun coin, pretty picture, great overlay.

I can read Arabic script numerals and find standard words like zarb. I would have found the date, so I could have figured out the ruler. I may have found zarb (I get into trouble when it's split in two like that) and would probably have got stuck there. Yes, there are lists of mint names in Arabic script, but they show modern Arabic. This is where those overlays become so handy. They lower the threshold for beginners, getting them to the point where they can start acquiring experience reading all the texts on coins.

Thank you in the name of all threshold crossers.
