In 2006 a series of fantasy pieces with a fake denomination of 2 pounds was issued for Guernsey which depict some of the members of the British Royal houses. The issuance of these pieces has never been authorized by the Government of Guernsey and so these pieces are illegal. On the obverse of the pieces a small effigy can be seen that resembles the fourth portrait of HM Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley as well as a portrait of each king and queen. On the reverse the seal of the particular king or queen can be seen.
