Morocco cast coins
« on: February 25, 2016, 02:28:10 PM »
Hi collectors :),
I found these two Moroccan cast coins: could you help me to give a correct classification to them?
The first one has a diameter of mm. 28 and a weight of gr. 8,6; the second one has a diameter of mm. 18 and a weight of gr. 3,9.
Thanks in advance to anyone who will bring his opinion in my topic.

The upper one has the mint name Fes, year is AH 1284.
I am not sure if the lower coin is correctly orientated ...
If yes, it should be from Marrakech, AH 1266.

Thanks very much Afrasi for your kind reply.
Can they be considered 4 falus (the first one) and 2 falus (the second one), even if, for both, the weight is lower than what Krause catalog indicates about it?
For the first coin I didn't find any pic of comparison to that obverse with some little circles around the seal of Salomon...
