That aqueduct is not as old as it looks, by the way. ;)  Just read about that in an ancients forum; so far it was believed to be constructed around 98 AD. But due to new studies and finds - including a Trajan sestertius issued between 112 and 116 - the aqueduct is now considered to be a 2nd century building.

Regardless of the date of construction, I would say it held up well. ;D
