AE Stater of Ananta Deva of Kashmir

This is an AE Stater of Ananta Deva of Kashmir. He belonged to the first Lohara dynasty and ruled from AD 1028 to AD 1063.

Obverse: Enthroned Ardoxsho facing; Nagari legend: Aa(left) Na Nta (right).
Reverse: King standing; Nagari legend : De Ba (right).

Weight = 5.92 grams

Diameter = 18.7 mm

Great coin. Very nicely illustrates that these can undergo quite some wear and still remain perfectly legible. You seem to have gathered quite some of the later Kashmir kings lately. (Reminds me that i still have some early Toramana prototypes lying around. But limited coin-time at the moment  )
