I think that you'll agree that this 5.8 gram coin is in very decent condition.
The obverse is again, typical of Ilahi dated coins in general and nearly identical with the Akbar Rupee posted earlier.

And now, on to the reverse!
At the top appears to be the date:  "45" with the five a varient of the Persian "5", at least that is my guess.  A look at Mughal Empire KM 90.1 in the standard catalog of 1601 to 1700 shows a coin I think is dated similarly.

If the Ilahi month is below the date, the month appears to be Bahman, the 11th month in the calandar. Is that simialar to our Sagittarius?
And the Mint?  To the left of the date is perhaps the begining of Ahmadabad. What do you think?

Hi Richie

This coin is KM#63.1. The Ilahi month is indeed Bahman (Zodiac sign Aquarius) and the Ilahi year is 35. No mint name appears on these coins. Probably these are camp (Urdu) issues. The word to the left of the Ilahi year is "Ilahi".

Thanks for the verification! The info about Ilahi is just divine!  ::)
If I have to explain the joke, it is not funny.
Which reference did you use to find KM 63.1?

Thanks Overlord.
Please take a look at the date.  I am able to read it as either a "3" or a varient of a "4".
