Presenting a dam of Akbar of a common mint (most of my dams are common!). Although common, I love its decoration which I haven't found anywhere.

Well, the condition of the coin makes it uncommon. Also, are you aware of the different types of coins of the same mint? This coin has Lahore with a 'do chashme' He.

Hi,
Thank you for the reply. I looked up Liddle and feel that it might be the type C-44 with missing bordering circle. Comparing with other coins, from bottom to top what I can read is
Side Reverse:
Isfundermuz
Ilahi
40
Side Obverse:
Zarb
Falus
Lahore
Unfortunately I can do only pattern matching and as I do not read the language any finer point of the coin will be beyond my capability of understanding  .

Very nice coin ! I agree with asm, so good grade dams are not at all common...

(And the date is well 40 as said by your seller (there is clearly a dot after the digit 4)

That is actually an exceptionally good coin & worthy of any collection, nice ornamental darts as well!
