Gupta Empire: Kumaragupta (ca 414-455 AD), Lead unit.

Best known of the Gupta coinage are the gold dinaras, and, for collectors with more moderate means, the silver drachms in Western Satrapal style. In the western provinces the Guptas also issued small change in the form of lead units and fractions thereof. Recently Mitresh started two threads on the lead coinage of Chandragupta II and Skandagupta.
Also Kumaragupta (ca 414-455 AD) issued this type of lead coinage, so he should not be missing in our index:
One side shows the dynastical Garuda/peacock bird. The other (difficult to read, but nevertheless) the legend [Sri] Kumaragupta in Brahmi, with Sun above. Pb 12x14 mm, 2.26 grams.
