A New Orleans Mardi Gras token from 1973.

An all too realistic scene. Horrific to think that this sort of thing happens every day. 

I just hope that no children were allowed to buy it. Poor Jonah.

Speaking of whales....and the image of Jonah reminds me...
I have always been fascinated by how the old masters depicted whales in their painting and
drawings.  It is obvious that many of them had never seen a whale.

British Columbia.  Orcas surfacing.

Orcas are killer whales. Does this design remind you of the film "Jaws" ?

It shouldn't, because "Jaws" was about killer sharks, not whales.
