IIRC, India had a slew of coin series a few years ago..very confusing

MOZAMBIQUE



Mozambique, 5 escudos, 1973.

Mozambique was part of the Portuguese empire.

It used the escudo through to 1974.

It became independent in 1975.





Mozambique, 2½ meticas, 1975.

A Mozambican set exists for 1975.

I do not know whether it was ever issued.





Mozambique: coinage of the 1980s.

Mozambique issued a socialist-themed coinage in the 1980s.
