Mughal Dynasty: Anonymous fractional Dams of Humayun (AH 937-968), mint Agra

I had the pleasure of finding some fractional Dams of Humayun in my mystery coin box. Here they are:

Here is a crude illustration showing my take on the basic inscription.


Reverse Fi Tarikh Sanat 9XX (At the date year 9XX). [The years are: Top row, 942 AH; Bottom row, 942AH, 94X AH, 94(2/3?)AH, and 94(2/3?) AH]

Two more coins of the same mint. The first one is dated 937 AH (the first year of Humayun's reign) and the second 940 AH.

Just picked up the book on Babur and while reading the same, I came across a point where it is mentioned that the coins of Humayun and Babur are almost similar - specially the ones from Agra. As per the author, the only way to distinguish between the two is the date - before AH 937 is Babur and after AH 937 are Humayun. AH 937 are a problem as it is a year that covers both rulers. He has come to a conclusion that the coins of Humayun are those with the epithet Dar al Khilafat - seat of the capital. Babur's capital was Delhi and hence the coins of Agra with  the epithet Dar al Darb or Qilla Agra are those of Agra.

I have a couple of coins of Agra with the date AH 937 but am unable to read the legend on these. If the legend is Dar al Khilafat Agra then surely the coin is Humayun. Please help. I am posting one with this mail (the second will follow soon).  Please help.

I agree......... Overlordgarh is full of surprises and the mystery box .... no words to describe its contents.

Can you check the date of two cois of the lot above....... the top tight seems to be 936 and the second from right in the bottom row looks 934. If my reading is correct, these are Babur......

The coin you posted shows "Dar Al Khilafat". I can't find any images that show the years 936 and 934.
