Bahawalpur, Sadiq Muhammad Khan V (AH1325-1365/AD1907-1947), AE paisa, AH1343. Ref.: Y#8.
These paisas exist with two different dates, viz.: AH1342 & 1343.
As far I can observe on this specimen the date is AH1343 which is much scarcer as the earlier date AH1342.

  Bahawalpuri coins are not easy to find,despite the prices in Krause.I was very pleased to get a pair of the AH1359 (1940) 1/2 Pice & 1/4 Anna coins.

Bahawalpur acceded to the Dominion of Pakistan in 1947,but its autonomy was abolished in 1955.

If I knew these are rare coins I would have bought more. I bought this from a roadside dealer at chandni Chowk in Delhi for about Rs 30 each. With this information I will need to go back and try locate the same dealer again.

Bahawalpuri coins are of interest,not only to Indian coin collectors,but also to Pakistani coin collectors as well.
