Just got this coin. Compare its size to 10 baht coin.

Last update: Dec 2015 updated only nickel coin info.

I have that coin too and I like it. :) It's perhaps the heaviest and biggest bimetallic in my collection!

Does anyone know if it was intended for circulation?

I'm not sure it was. Since they also have 2 kina banknote in circulation and we all do know the fate of any denomination that has both coin and banknote.
