A neat silver proof set from Samoa 1974

Won this silver mint set recently. All these coins were struck in silver proof. I think this was sold slightly more than melt, if not less - haven't looked up what the total weight of silver in this set. Neverthless, found this set very beautiful.

This is a wonderful set of designs, they lend themselves very nicely being struck in silver.
Pieces of art rather than coins.

Who was the designer "JB" ?
always willing to trade modern UK coins for modern coins from elsewhere....

Interesting to see how his designs progressed - the Fiji Threepence is from a very different era!
