Imperial China, Western Han Dynasty: Ban Liang (136-119BC) Four Zhu (Hartill-7.32)

Small coin, so the image is a bit fuzzy.  I'll see if I can sharpen it up a bit later...

Obv: 半两 Ban Liang (Half Ounce). Bottom of liang like M. Fine workmanship.
Rev: Plain and flat.

Very well preserved and a joy to look at.

Note the protective edge. This idea would become commonplace in Europe 2000 years later...
