The top coin is a 1-1/2 kurush date 1833/34, in the name of Mahmud II, catalogue number KM 601

obv: toughra (the sultan's "signature") with four poppies (?)
rev: within five poppies (?) 26/zarb/fi/Qustantinya/1223 - struck at Istambul 1223, regnal year 26 (or maybe 27).

Going by the weight of the lower coin, this would be a 10 para, date unsure (1802-1807) in the name of Selim III, KM 492. However, this coin is smaller and has a decorated edge. I suspect that it is a 5 para, KM 465. This coin should be 21 mm, 1.2-1.4 grams, dated regnal year 1.

obv: toughra with bud (?)
rev: 1 (second digit missing?)/zarb/fi/Islambul/1203

Could you weigh the lower coin again, please?

It is the same weight with another scale.

Got it. KM got its listing in the paper version mixed up. Numismaster has the correct weights.

Your coin is KM 447. 5 para 1203/1 (1789), Islambul.
