Purchased an odd piece quite a while ago (30 years) at a local coin auction.  It was listed as "Circa 1800 "NON TOK"".  It is a crude casting.  Round.  Approximately 37 mm.  Looks like the mold was the big end of a chicken egg.  It has rainbow toning that the auctioneer said came from chicken blood.  Have no idea if that quote has any basis in fact but ya never know.
Anyone know the true story or any clue as to the origin and rarity of this piece?

We need a picture to have some idea what this is about. Also the metal used would be useful.
