The coin is published by Valentine (1911), pp. 170/171, no. 3.

I made a terrible mistake myself by misinterpreting the date and therefore made the wrong description of the coin offered at the ONS-Auction last year.
Shailendra Bhandare who was present at the auction wasn't fooled and obtained the piece for the Ashmolean collection.

I obtained this coin in 2010, from a british seller, at a time when these coins were still accessible for whom was able to decipher them...

I obtained this coin in 2010, from a british seller, at a time when these coins were still accessible for whom was able to decipher them...

I agree buying early has advantage probability of getting rare &  collectable condition copper coins.

Also cost wise may be economical when buying early my guess.

I have seen very nice copper coins posted here by early Mughal experts and collectors including yourself  ( oesho , asm, engipress & overlord) who possess good coins which are hard to find now and beyond affordability of average collectors.
