From my Greece contact I heared that the Greece BU 2007 will appears in the middle or the end of June. The expectation is that the set will be very quickly sold-out because the normal 2 Euro can be obtained like 2004 only in this BU-set.

What is the procedure for obtaining a set (other than waiting for an opportunity to over-pay a dealer)?

Issue of this set had a delay. Definitive issue date is 13 August next.

Some of my colleagues who had ordered a set at Bank of Greece, have received an email last month stating "sorry, the sets are completely sold out".
As this set is the only possibility of obtaining a 2 ? Greek coin 2007 of the regular type, the price of this set has soared sky high ever since is was issued.
I was lucky enough (or smart enough?) of ordering very early with a reliable coindealer at a fixed price. At today's prices, the price I paid (? 29) is a real bargain! Grin
