Our French-speaking collecting friends are brooding over this silver coin (17 mm, 0.99 gram) here Can we help them?

On the reverse is the Shahada or Kalima.
The obverse shows on the top 'sultan', but the rest of the inscription is hardly readable.

That's a disappointment. Can we at least say it's medieval Indian? The lay-out reminds me of a Khiljis coin.
