An unidentified coin is a piece of metal. An identified coin is a piece of history.

WHAT!  I didn't win the powerball last week? That 500million isn't mine?  Ooops.   Now my wife is going to kill me... :-)

Thanks,

Samir et al,

To overcome the 65K limit on attachments, I have been crossposting on coinnetwork.com and linking the images back.  Coin Network uses www.ning.com to host its images, so if that site is blocked on your computer, you will not be able to see the images.  If that becomes a problem for most, then I will try to scale the images down to 65K limit.  But I don't think anyone else is having this problem...

Wow! Nice coin. This is the first time I am seeing a coin from Mahe. Have only seen Pondicherry.
My goal for 2017 is to finish finish my British India copper collection (1/4 anna, 1/2 Pice and 1/12 anna) by year and Mintmark. Any help with missing coins in BU grades is highly appreciated.

Thanks Brokencompass.  The 1/5 Rupee I posted earlier is also from Mahé, but was minted in Pondichery...
