More stuff from Egypt ???
« on: August 02, 2008, 08:16:34 PM »
Hello freaks,

the discussion about tokens from Egypt is getting under way. Thus, I want to show another piece, which cannot be found in any literary. Maybe it is from Egypt, maybe from somewhere else. The denomination of this aluminum token is 25 Gersh resp. Piasters. The weight is 1,35 g and the diameter I could determine as 24,0 mm.

A friend told me that the incription means "Tharwat el Khal'iy".

Any idea?

See you later
